One thing I have found when doing my own searches in Google for finding suppliers is confusion.  Alot of people I chat with don't know how to search Google properly to find suppliers.  I am asked; Do you use words like "suppliers", "wholesalers", "dropshippers" or "manufacturers"?  It all depends on what you are really searching for.  Are you truly trying to find someone that will give you wholesale prices and dropship the products for you?  Are you looking for a manufacturer that will give you a better price by buying in bulk?  Do you have thousands of dollars to spend of products? 

Most of the time when doing a search for "wholesalers" in Google you will get a list of results that are just "middle-man" and not true wholesale prices.  This is the biggest mistake you can make when finding suppliers.  If you base your site around products that are from a middle-man and not true wholesale prices then you will never really be able to compete.  Be careful if using Google to find suppliers, and make sure you know exactly what you are looking for.

Bottom line when using Google (or any other search engine for that matter) you are gonna have to take some time and go through the list to find if the results/sites are truly who they say they are.  You will need to call them up and ask them the "dropshipping questions" we talked about previously.

Its never easy doing it this way.
