Last minute ideas for selling more products for Thanksgiving

Its not to late to take advantage of "holiday sales" and promotions on your website.  The beauty of doing business online is you are open 24-7 so think about all those extra hours open promoting a "holiday sale"  Here is a few ideas:
  1. Create a new banner for Thanksgiving with 10% off or offer something free with purchase of $xxx.xx of dollars.
  2. In your newsletter offer a coupon code for "subscribers only"
  3. Write an article about your website promoting a "crazy Thanksgiving Day sale" and try to get buzz going through people that have opted in on your site.
  4. Contact your supplier and see if they will give you any free products for promotional purposes.
  5. Offer 10% of for any canned good donated this year to the food bank.
There are many ways to drum up a frenzy with your website, but the bottom line here is to take advantage of the situation at hand.  If you are working with a really good supplier that dropships they will probably be more then willing to help you out because that will only mean more business for them.

You can also offer last minute Thanksgiving day sales on a one or a two day auction on Ebay.  You can find new suppliers for products you normally don't sell on your website for the holidays!  If you have access to a dropship list with suppliers then this task becomes even easier! 

People are ready and willing to spend money during the holidays so make sure you take advantage of every situation.
