Just wanted to do a quick post based
on a question I get emailed almost on a daily basis. I am going to
tackle this question because I think it can confuse some people. What
is a dropshipping directory? Does the company I purchase the list from
ship out the products? When I get the list, what do I do now?
These are all great questions and areas of confusion for those new
to internet and online business (especially those dealing with supplier
lists and distributing companies).
- What is a dropshipping directory? A dropship list
is simply a list of individual companies that you can contact that do
dropshipping. Just purchasing a dropshipping list does not "set up" a
relationship with a suppliers. You must go through the list and find a
company that is offering the products you want to sell online, then
contact them and follow all thier rules to establish the relationship
with them.
- Does the company I purchase the manufactur list ship our the products?
No, for example just because you may have purchased the list from The
Shipper it does not mean we are the company that sends out your
products. Again, that would be the supplier dropshipping comapny that
you set up the relationship with.
- When I get the list, what do i do now? A great
question. Once you have access to the list and all the drophisppers
and supplier companies on the list then start contacting them each (one
by one) and making sure you get access to all the products you want to
sell on your internet business. Before you start to contact these
suppliers remember that you must have a tax ID and business name set up
in order for them to work with you.
The main reason I write this post is to clarify what people get with The Shipper dropshipping directory list. Some think that The Shipper
is the company that actually ships out the products, but that is not
the case, we just do the hard work for you in finding suppliers that
dropship, and making that part of finding dropshippers easier for you!
