What Transformers The Movie Can Teach You About Selling Products Online

About a year and a half ago, I was watching a movie (I think Harry Potter) and I saw the very first trailer that was put out for the Transformers movie.  I remember thinking to myself (what a good idea it would be) to set up a niche product site selling Transformers products.  At the time I did not have a clue the movie was going to be anything like it was.  I saw the movie last night and I have talked to so many people that agree with me, that it is one of the best movies of all time.

I had no idea the movie would be the way it was, and I never knew it would blow up like it has.  Lesson learned.  People are killing it on eBay right now selling new Transformers products, vintage products, and just about everything Transformers you can think of.

I am so excited that Transformers were brought back.  These are the toys I grew up with and wore out quicker then any other toy I had.  If I had taken some time to find some suppliers a year and a half ago, or even bought a bunch of Transformers product in bulk to sell at a later time on eBay (like right now when its super-hot, and you can charge a ton more) I would have a much fatter bank account right now.

The point here?  Make sure to pay attention to what is going on in the market around you because it could turn into big bucks.  Take actions, and some time risks.  Who knows what would have happened if the movie bombed?  Its just a good lesson learned about paying attention to the current market place!
