What to expect when submitting a research request.

Submitting a research request is a useful option after becoming a paying member. Once you have completed the trial and looked through our directory and are unsuccessful in finding a supplier, we have a research team that will work to find them for you.

To submit a research request please follow these simple steps:

    1. Make sure you are logged in to your account.
    2. Once logged in click on the + sign next to member home.
    3. Click on Wholesale Match.
    4. Choose the type of supplier that you are interested in i.e., drop shipper or wholesaler, dollar store or closeout.
    5. Enter the complete details about the products that you are looking to sell i.e., baby products - cribs, blankets, clothing. Please be as specific as possible including brands, colors, materials etc.
    6. Click submit.

Each research request can take up to 2-3 business days for results.  If you have not received an email by the end of the 3rd business day please check your junk or spam mail.  If you don't see anything please call us at 866-478-3458.

Sometimes the research results can vary.  Here is a list of the different types of suppliers that you may receive.

Wholesale suppliers can sell you a bulk load of products individually at a small percentage higher than the manufactures price and ship it directly to you, giving you an inventory. Then you repackage the products individually and ship them to your customers.

A Wholesale drop shipper is a wholesaler that will ship your product out one at a time to your customer. Because this costs them more time (employees collecting the products from the pallets), supplies (packaging supplies, and postage), and effort, they will often charge a slightly higher rate than just wholesale, whether it be per address or a higher percentage markup. Also, many drop shipping companies have a membership fee which varies by supplier.

Affiliate programs are a way for companies to pay for incoming traffic.  For example, when a customer visits your site and you are an “affiliate” of an online business, your site will have a link to the online business’ page.  It will then take the customer to the company’s main site and you will receive a referral or commission payout for the customer finding the online business through your marketing. Most often payout is a certain percentage of the sale but varies by company.

After you receive these suppliers the next step is to contact them directly.  Here are some things that you should expect:

    1. Have suppliers asking for tax id numbers, selling history, and other business information
    2. Talk to more than one person
    3. Use more than one company to source your online business
    4. Find high end name brand products such as game consoles, name brand clothing, etc at only slightly lower than retail prices, as these companies are not willing to drop ship, because allowing more resellers or a product create over saturation. They do not have a resell value. When these products are sold on e-bay, they are often sold by large retailers or people who have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for inventory.
    5. Receive at least one of three different sources for the products you request wholesalers, drop shippers, and/or affiliate programs.
    6. Just because you have seen a product sold on the internet, that it’s legal. Some companies will not allow their products to be sold on the internet at all or without a brick and mortar store in addition to an online business. We cannot provide a source for you once we find out it is illegal.
    7. Supplier results given by research team could give your desired products as well as other items so be sure to look at the website to find what you are looking for.
