Many online newbies who are looking to start their dropshipping business will automatically look for the name brand, popular items in electronics, clothing and accessories as their first choices for products that they want sell online.  Despite these markets being quite crowded, they may still be profitable for some.  However, most of the exclusive name brand products that are easily available through Chinese suppliers, who can dropship the items to your customers, are fakes and replicas of the real thing.

Consider these factors:

• Most Chinese suppliers are genuine and willing to do business.
• BUT, if you are considering purchasing name brand, popular products from Chinese suppliers, you need to assume that they will be replicas or fakes.
• This will ensure that you do not mislead your customers or come out of the deal empty handed.
