Google Tweaks AdSense Terms And Implements Real-Time Search Results

December 11th, 2009

Google has announced changes to their AdSense and search engine systems.  The AdSense changes are quite minor, mainly impacting AdSense vocabulary.  Google has added the words “estimated” and “finalized” to user’s “earnings” reports.  The actual amount of earnings are not impacted, nor is the way earnings are calculated.  Rather, the vocab tweak is meant to clarify which earnings are only estimated by Google and which are actually finalized.  Google asserts that most users won’t even notice a difference.

In more exciting news, Google has implemented “real time” search results in their SERPs (Search Engine Response Pages).  Basically, fresh content is now afforded a prominent, if brief, presence on the SERPs.  Check back Monday for a blog addressing how this will impact your dropshipping website’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
