Step By Step How To Sell The $200 A Day Products On EBay
Here at Wholesale Match we have something called the $200 A Day program to help internet newbies sell products on eBay. Most people who have never sold on eBay before don’t know what to sell or where to get products, so the $200 A Day program is a great way to get your feet wet. Every day, we post about a hundred items we’ve found for great prices online that we believe you can sell on eBay for a profit. You list the item, complete the sale, then order the item and have it shipped directly to your buyer. Today I’m going to give step by step instructions of how to complete this process:
Step 1: Assuming you have your eBay and PayPal accounts set up, step one is to choose a product. To find the $200 A Day products, you simply go to the Wholesale Match homepage, click on the $200 In A Day button, and select “Products” from the drop-down menu. This will take you directly to the list of products. Select five or six you think might be profitable on eBay. Today I selected the “Cushion Shaped Green Emerald and Diamond Ladies Ring in 10K White Gold”.

Step 2: Confirm the profitability of your selections. You do this by checking the completed listings on eBay. Click on “Advanced Search”, then type in the parameters of your prospective item. If it’s an electronics item, you’ll put in the full title, say, 42 ” Panasonic Viera TC-P42X1 720 P Plasma HD TV. If it’s a more general item where brand name doesn’t really matter, like my emerald ring, you input the salient keywords like “Emerald, Diamond, White Gold”, and select a price range it will probably compare to. Since I can get the ring for $76 with free shipping, I looked at all the rings in the $50-500 range. When I checked the completed listings with these parameters, I discovered that most emerald rings with small diamonds, white gold bands, and similar-sized emeralds sold for about $200-300. (Remember, I only checked completed listings, listings that sold). Emerald rings that sold for less than $100 had much, much smaller stones than my ring. This tells me that I have a good chance of selling my ring for more than the $76 I would have to pay for it.
Step #3: Very important: before you post the item, copy down all the pertinent information and contact the retailer. You need to copy the information because the product list changes every day at midnight: if you don’t copy the URL of the retailer, and any and all coupon codes, rebate information, etc., it won’t be there when you come back in three or four days. You also need to contact the seller. This is to confirm two things: first, that the seller has plenty of items in stock, and second, that the price isn’t going to change in the next few days. This is also a good time to make sure you can have the item shipped to an address other than the one listed on your credit card. Usually this isn’t a problem, especially if you have the items sent as a gift (which you’ll want to do anyway so the price isn’t visible on the receipt), but a few companies like Buy.com and Newegg have recently implemented more stringent shipping rules. Note: you probably don’t want to tell the retailer that you’re planning on reselling their product on eBay – treat everything as a gift purchase.
Step #4: Take the item that seems to have the best potential for profit, and post it on eBay. Make sure your listing has relevant keywords in the title, and include a picture. You can’t copy the product description from the $200 A Day product listings due to copyright protection, but you are welcome to use the pictures. It’s usually a good idea to have a short auction period, say 2 or 3 days, so the price or availability of the item doesn’t change before your auction finishes. You can also include a “Buy It Now” option.
Step #5: Complete the sale and have the item shipped. Once you’ve made a sale, immediately order the product from the retailer and have it shipped directly to your customer. Don’t forget, have it sent as a gift so the price isn’t visible to your buyer.
I would recommend starting small, selling one or two products to get the hang of it. You might want to choose something relatively inexpensive as you probably don’t have a positive customer satisfaction rating built up on your eBay account yet: buyers are leery to shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars to a new seller. You can sell two or even three of the same item if the demand and the profit margin is there, but don’t post ten or twelve emerald rings at once because you’ll flood the market and drive the value down. If you have any questions during any stage of the process, call, email, or livechat the Wholesale Match customer service team.
